Robotjournalism prevails in more and more editorial offices in Germany

Dec 20 2015

"If no one has to put stock exchange prices into words any longer - this is wonderful" [says] (http://derstandard.at/2000024357623/Deutsche-Medien-testen-Roboterjournalismus) Jochen Wegner editor-in-chief of zeit-online, one of the leading news-websites in Germany.

The response towards robotjournalism was thoroughly positive at “Medientage München 2015” - Germany’s major media conference. Automation has become more and more established in the editorial offices of the leading German publishing companies. Software to automatically generate stories is used or tested especially for sport stories, weather and finance reports.
